Dr. Shibu Varghese hails from a traditional Ayurvedic family, and he is the fourth lineage from Kalarickal family in Kothamangalam. He is a Post Graduate in Pancha Karma presently working as Professor& HOD in department of Panchakarma and as Hospital Superintendent at Nangelil Ayurveda College. He is a known practitioner and practices at Kalarickal Ayurveda Hospital as Chief Physician and Proprietor, Kothamangalam. He is also a senate member of Kerala University of health sciences. He is the executive director and chief Physician of Carmel Ayurveda Hospital and research centre. Throughout his career he has been involved in teaching and training students as well as practitioners in clinical medicine and radiology. His clinical classes are well appreciated and he has presented papers in various National and International seminars. He is the founder General Secretary of (PACTO) Private Ayurveda College teacher’s organization and former Vice president of AMAI Ernakulam district.
